Where will Bitcoin replace US Dollar?
A question was asked by Cardi B on Twitter

Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, in response to a tweet by Grammy-winning female rapper Cardi B, described Bitcoin as a better option than the US Dollar. This was followed by a flurry of reactions on Twitter. Dorsey says bitcoin will replace the US dollar. Indeed, Cardi B asked on Twitter whether crypto would replace the US currency, to which Dorsey replied, “Yes, bitcoin will.” Dorsey now handles digital payments and financial services company Block (formerly Square). He established this company in 2009.

Cardi B and Jack Dorsey’s conversation on the replacement of the US dollar by cryptocurrencies saw massive reactions on social media platforms. Dogecoin co-founder Billy Markus posted a meme about how Dogecoin is more stable than the US dollar, while bitcoin investor Dennis Porter pointed out that “this kind of conversation had to happen.”

Dorsey said last October that Block is looking to build a bitcoin mining system based on custom silicon and open source for miners as well as businesses. The system will link with the company’s existing bitcoin-based project, which includes a business as well as a hardware wallet for cryptocurrencies, to create an open developer platform.

Dorsey has previously suggested that bitcoin will become a global currency for the Internet. Dorsey also took a dig at investors by claiming that Web3, a decentralized application based on blockchain, is under the same centralized control as the existing Internet.
