How deadly is the new variant of Covid NeoCov for humans? WHO said this thing

The world is still not able to get rid of the grip of Coronavirus. Thousands of cases of the Covid delta variant and Omicron variant are being reported every day. Amid the Corona crisis, there is now a danger of spreading a new virus infection in the world. A new virus has been found in bats in China’s Wuhan Lab, which is being called NeoCov. Scientists of Wuhan Lab have warned about this virus that it can be more dangerous than corona.

The NeoCov virus is reportedly the first to appear in South Africa. Now a response has also been expressed from the World Health Organization regarding this. WHO said that NeoCov can also threaten humans like corona, there is still a need for study regarding this.

The World Health Organization said that it is aware of the origin of the new virus that the scientists of Wuhan have told about and WHO is in contact with the World Animal Health Organization, Food and Agriculture Organization about this. The WHO said that more than 75 per cent of emerging infectious diseases in humans are due to infection of animals and wild animals and these animals also include bats.

The World Health Organization said that Chinese scientists have mentioned the new virus in their new research, which is yet to be reviewed. It is not yet revealed how much this new virus can affect humans. According to scientists, the transmission rate of NeoCov can be very fast and it can cause the death of 1 in 3 people infected with it.
