With 217 points, the Mumbai Indians (MI) are in first position on all IPL points. MI has played 186 league games and has won 108 games in 13 stages of the IPL league completed so far. The Mumbai Indians are the only team to have won 100 championship matches in the Indian Premier League. Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) is in 2nd place with 190 points. KKR is most likely to be replaced by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in 2nd position while CSK is strengthening during the current 2021 season. CSK currently occupies 3rd place due to the suspension in two seasons, because CSK has only played 158 games against 186 for KKR. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Delhi Capitals (DC) are in 4th, 5th and 6th positions resp. Kochi Tuskers Kerala, who has only played one season, is at the bottom of the table. Out of 13 teams, seven teams competed in more than 100 championship matches. DC lost more than 13 championship matches in a single season (2013). Four times, MI finished 1st in the Indian Premier League point table, followed by CSK and DC twice each. SRH, GL, RR, RCB and PBKS once became the best breeders. KKR has played all seasons but never ends at the top. No team has ever finished in the top four with less than 12 points in the history of the Rajasthan IPL Royals (2008) and Kings XI Punjab (2014) has accumulated 22 points in an IPL season in 14 games. The Delhi Capitals (2012), the Chennai Super Kings (2013) and the Mumbai Indians (2013) accumulated 22 points in 16 games. Delhi Capitals (2014) and Deccan Chargers (2008) are the only two teams to have accumulated 4 points in an IPL season, the lowest points accumulated by any team.
