‘Bharat Ratna’ voice nightingale Lata Mangeshkar is no more among us. At the age of 92, Lata Mangeshkar breathed her last at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Sunday (February 6, 2022). Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to the hospital on 8 January after suffering from Coronavirus, since then she was there. But this long struggle ended on 6 February and Lata Mangeshkar bid farewell to this world.

Lata Mangeshkar’s last rites will be performed today (Sunday). From 12 noon to 3 pm, the body will be kept at his house on Pedder Road, where people will be able to pay their last respects. After this, at 4.30 pm, the body of Lata Mangeshkar will be taken to Shivaji Park in Mumbai, where she will be given a last farewell and cremated.

It has been announced by the government that the last rites of Lata Mangeshkar will be performed with full state honours. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Mumbai this evening, he will pay his last respects to Lata Mangeshkar and bid her farewell. PM Modi will reach Mumbai at around 4.30 am.

Lata didi was admitted to the hospital after being Covid

Swara Kokila Lata Mangeshkar was running very ill for the past month. On January 8 this year, Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after being infected with Corona. Lata also had pneumonia with corona. Looking at Lata didi’s age, doctors admitted her to the ICU. Since then she was struggling continuously.

According to the information, during treatment, he was removed from the ventilator for just 2 days. Then as soon as her health started deteriorating again Lata was brought on ventilator support. On Saturday (February 5), suddenly Lata Mangeshkar’s health had worsened, after which all the members of the family reached the hospital.

Lata Mangeshkar herself became a singer, besides her brother Hridaynath Mangeshkar, sister Usha Mangeshkar, Meena Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle were also associated with music.
