1 cup flour, 1 egg, 3/4 tsp fresh yeast, 2 tbsp powdered sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 cup milk, 2 tbsp desi ghee, 1/2 tsp poppy or sesame seeds, melted butter, dissolved in milk Saffron.

Method :

Mix all-purpose flour, yeast, sugar, salt, egg, one tablespoon ghee in the dough and mix it with milk and keep it covered. After 2-3 hours, melt the remaining ghee in it and mash the dough and make balls. Roll out all the dough and press it with a fork so that the rotis do not swell. Put a hand of water on the rolled rotis and paste poppy seeds or sesame seeds. After this, apply saffron dissolved in milk on the rotis and put them in a tray in a pre-heated oven at 180 ° C and bake till they become golden. Serve hot sheermal with melted butter.
