The country’s leading IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has planned to give jobs to 100000 youth across the country in the year 2022. TCS is the first IT company in the country which is hiring maximum freshers. In the last quarter of the current financial year, the company may end the plan to hire one lakh freshers. Tata Consultancy Services has so far given jobs to 77,000 youth, which is much more than the target of 55,000 youths in the financial year 2021-22. In the financial year 2015 also, the company had given employment to more than 40,000 youth. Whereas in the third quarter of the current financial year, the company employed 34,000 youth. The company management has announced that it will continue its recruitment process in the fourth quarter as well.
There is a shortage of technical experts
After Covid 19, there has been a rapid growth in the e-commerce sector in the country, after which many start-up companies came. At the same time, many companies spread their business in the field of e-commerce. In such a situation, there is a shortage of technical experts in the country. In such a situation, TCS has planned to employ new freshers here. For this, the youth have to pass the exam. After this, they will be trained to work in different sectors. IT companies will give 4.5 lakh jobs
According to the UnearthInsight report that came out in November, Indian IT companies are targeting to employ 4,50,000 youth in the second half of FY 2022. TCS tops even in terms of leaving the job

TCS had a job loss rate of 15.3 per cent in the third quarter, up from 11.9 per cent in the second quarter. But it is less than Accenture (17 per cent). Infosys (25.5 per cent), Wipro (22.7 per cent), and HCL Tech (19.8 per cent) have also lost their jobs.
